WHY WE BUILT IT
SimDelta started from a familiar frustration. Lap times shared as WhatsApp screenshots. Best sectors buried in a Discord thread. No way to know if your time at Spa was actually faster than your teammate's, not without someone manually checking and posting results. There was no unified place for sim racers to go hot lapping and genuinely see how they compared.
So we built one. SimDelta connects to SimHub, the dashboard software already running on most sim rigs, and handles everything automatically from that point on. You race. Your lap times are uploaded the moment they're clean, leaderboards update in real time, and your friends are notified when you set a new best. No screenshots. No copy-pasting lap times. No chasing people to update a spreadsheet.
The same lap you set in a practice session can automatically count towards live community events, earning trophies that live on your driver profile. You're always shown exactly where your nearest rivals are and the precise gap you need to close, whether that's a tenth of a second or two minutes. It's the async racing experience that was missing from sim racing: compete on your own schedule, against real people, with results that actually mean something.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is SimDelta free?
SimDelta is completely free to use during our early access beta, with full access to leaderboards, events, teams, and your driver profile. We plan to introduce a small subscription in the future, but beta users will always get early notice well ahead of any changes.
Which sim racing games are supported?
SimDelta works with iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Assetto Corsa, rFactor 2, Le Mans Ultimate, and a growing list of titles. If your game is supported by SimHub, there is a good chance SimDelta supports it too. The full list is on this page above.
Do I need SimHub?
Yes. The SimDelta plugin runs inside SimHub, which is free software used by most sim racers for dashboards and overlays. If you already have SimHub installed, setup takes under two minutes.
How does lap upload work?
Once the plugin is installed and you are signed in, it runs silently in the background. Every time you complete a clean lap in a supported game it is automatically captured and uploaded. You do not need to do anything between sessions.
Do I need to be in a league or club?
No. SimDelta works for any sim racer, whether you race in an organised league or just hot lap for fun. Leaderboards are open to everyone and you can compete in community events entirely on your own schedule.
What is a hot lap event?
A hot lap event is a timed competition where drivers post their fastest single lap on a set track and car combination. Your best lap counts automatically, there is no fixed race time, so you can compete whenever suits you.
Can I create or join a team on SimDelta?
Yes. Any driver can create a team and choose whether it is public or private. Public teams are open for any driver to discover and join. Private teams are invite only, making them ideal for closed league groups or racing clubs who want their own space.
What can teams do on SimDelta?
Teams have their own dedicated space on the platform. You can connect a shared race calendar so every team member stays across upcoming events, and upload race and championship results to build a permanent record of your season history. Teams can also create private hot lap events exclusive to their members, complete with custom uploaded trophies for the winners.
